Caring for youth who identify as LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and others) ? This welcoming, introductory course is here to help you build understanding and confidence. You’ll explore topics such as intersectionality, gender identity, sexual orientation, pronouns, inclusive language, risk factors, and family responses, while learning effective ways to respond and access helpful resources to support and promote positive outcomes for LGBTQIA+ youth.
