About the Workshop

Join the Connecticut Alliance of Foster and Adoptive Families (CAFAF) for a free presentation hosted by the Connecticut State Police on AI, Social Media, and Gaming Knowledge.

This workshop is designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, and professionals who work with students. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of current social media platforms and trends, popular video games and gaming systems, and the growing influence of artificial intelligence in students’ lives. Foster, adoptive, kinship and special studies families are welcomed.

Attendance at this event will count towards 1.5 certificated issued elective training credits.

This presentation offers an opportunity for adults who support youth to become more familiar with the digital environments, platforms, and technologies that are part of students’ everyday experiences.
