Join CAFAF, Friends of Connecticut State Parks, and No Child Left Inside for a fun-filled Family Day in the Park! This free, family-friendly event is designed especially for foster, adoptive, and kinship families across Connecticut.
Spend the day outdoors enjoying nature, connecting with others, and making lasting memories. Activities will include:
- Guided family-friendly walks
- Hands-on nature activities
- A park scavenger hunt
- Picnic areas for relaxing and enjoying lunch together
Whether you’re looking to explore the outdoors, meet other families, or simply enjoy a day in the park, there’s something for everyone. All ages welcomed!
Who should attend:
Foster, adoptive, and kinship families from across Connecticut and surrounding communities are warmly welcomed.
What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, and a picnic lunch if you’d like to stay and enjoy the park.
